Help - seriously squealing rear brakes:
2000 Dodge Neon
drums have been turned recently and look fine
brake shoes look fine - glazed over but fine. lots of pad left - look
almost new
Brakes squeal worse than a school bus. What is the problem? Is there any
anti-squeal "stuff" that I can put on anywhere? If so - where does it get
applied? Is there some anti-squeal related parts that may be missing? If
so - where are they supposed to be installed? The squealing has got to
stop - it is terrible.
I lightly sanded off the shoes to remove the glazing and put it all back to
gather. The squealing stopped for a short while but seems to be back again
just as bad as if I never did anything. I can't keep cleaning off the glaze
every other week.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Problem solved with fresh front pads. Apparently, the front pads were worn
to the point of making the rear shoes work harder than necessary.
