Wacky electrical problem on '93 Caravan

We suddenly started noticing the following 4 electrical problems on
our '93 Dodge Grand Caravan

1. Directionals don't work (but hazards still do!)
2. Airbag light remains on
3. Heater fan motor doesn't work
4. Rear defroster doesn't work

All other electrical systems and the car itself seem to work fine.

I asked our mechanic whether this could be a fuse issue and he said no
since these items are on separate fuses.

However, I can't believe that all these systems independently started
to go whacko at the same time.

Could this be a fuse issue? A grounding issue? Bad power/voltage?

Any thoughts on where to look and how to troubleshoot?
Thanks!

Sounds like your ignition switch is not returning to the "run" position
after the engine starts. Next time this acts up, try wiggling the lock cyl
back and forth just a little bit and see if things start working again. You
are probably going to need to replace the ign lock cylinder assembly to fix
this.

That would be a recall on your vehicle "recall 818" have the dealer check it
out and replace the rear wiper motor, it will cause the fuse to blow and it
is on the same circuit as the air bag,  fuse blows, air bag lite on

The body controller is not related to these circuits

blueman and all:

These circuts _are_ all powered from the same fuse. Look in the black
power distribution box under the hood, near the battery. You will most
likely find a blown 40 amp fuse. It will be labled IGN. RUN ONLY or some
such. If it is not blown, it is corroded. About $2.49 retail. It just
plugs in.

By the way... the circuts are all individually fused after this point,
under the dash. They just also happen to have the IGN RUN fuse as a common
source.

Peace, Steve
