I have 2 questions ........  The idle is 750 while is neutral (normal) but
when in drive the idle will drop to 650 (normal) but if I am at a stop for
more that 30 seconds the idle (in drive) slowly drops below 600 rpm to 550
rpm and is rough.  I took it to the dealer under warranty and they claimed
that it was showing any negative codes and a little roughness was normal.
Is there and idle adjustment?  Second question one of the back brakes
squeals upon lightly applying at slow speed .......the squeal doesn't happen
at faster speeds when brakes are applied harder.  Lots of pad left...no
other symptoms.  Thanks in advance for any advice.
Cheers,
MK

What yr? Mileage? The idle is controlled by the engine controller, But what
you may have is a dirty throttle body causing the low idle which is easy to
clean. Just take off the hose and with the engine not running use a tooth
brush and throttle body cleaner to scub the btop and bottom of the nlade and
the inside of the bore

It is a 2001 with about 40k miles. Thank you for the throttle body
suggestion.  I think that was the problem.  I did a quick cleaning with a
rag and some carb cleaner and the idle is higher and steady (when engaged in
drive).  I will find a brush and do a better job on the weekend.  Funny that
the dealer didn't check this under warranty.....hmmmm.   Any thoughts on the
rear break squeal ???
Thanks for the advice.

Well first of all it isnt a warranted item, that would be maintenance and
they may have charged you from 50 to 100 bucks to do it.  Some brake squeal
is considereed normal due the materials that the linings are made of,
especially on cold damp mornings. You need to check them first to be sure
they still  have plenty of life left, Clean all the dust from inside the
drums and lube the backing plates, once again this is also a maintenance
item
