Hi
I have a 96 neon.  The battery in the car kept dying and I had problems
starting the car in the morning.  I took it in to my mechanic, had the
alternator checked out, it's fine, and the battery is good (about a year
old). He was thinking it's the remote starter, so he removed it.  Now, a
week later, the same thing is happening.  Does anyone have any ideas on
what else could be draining it? - maybe something common to the Neon.

Thanks!
Andrzej

igniton off draw test must be perform to determine the amount of currrent
draw. normal draw should be .02 amp and anything above .05 is too much.
i've come across daytime running light module drawing current even with
vehicle off. i've also come across with faulty powertrain control module
not going to sleep mode. pcm should go to sleep mode in no more than
20mins. have the mechanic check the above info
