Where is the subject item located? Wiring diagrams show it behind the fuse
block on the drivers side. The hazard flasher is there and clicks when
active, but no turn signal flasher. The Autozone web site says it's behind
the glove box. I sure can't find it there or anywhere else.

Any help is appreciated.

It can be mounted in 3 different places on that vehicle the glove box left
side. the fuse box or most likely found it just above the steering column.
Remove the knee panel under the steering column and see if it is there.
