I don't know if it is spam or not but it is a pain. It is post in some type
of yenc format that my reader does not recognize. The people that developed
this format state it takes up less bandwidth but to me it sends ten times
the amount of messages in smaller chunks. The developers have been trying
for several years to make this the standard format for posting on the
internet. I not biting and buying or installing new software. I just block
the sender from every sending this crap to me.

If you were using something other than Outhouse Express, they would appear
as about 15 posts. Since OE doesn't know when articles are to be combined,
they appear as hundreds.
Try this:
http://pan.rebelbase.com
made for Linux, available for windows. Easier that OE, combines articles
automatically, and even decodes yENC!
You'll need the installable and the Gtk Runtime to use it. Install the
runtime first.
Works quite well.
