For $1500 -- assuming you like the fuselage styling, assuming everything in
the ad is true and no unpleasant surprises -- then that looks like quite a
decent vehicle in return. But you'd have to see the car first to verify the
assumptions.
It looks like it's been well cared for, the paint and chrome all look sharp,
it's got a lot of good hardware already installed to boost performance, etc.
With a little more cash spent on reupholstering, etc., it would be a nice
and very unusual ride. That car driving around in a sea of Camrys and
Accords would be quite amusing. It all depends on what you like.
It was surprising to see a six-pack kit on a 400. It would have been
interesting to have seen at least some stopwatch-based 0-60 times listed.
If it's well tuned then with 3.55 posi gears it probably moves out very
well.
Regardless of the year/make/model/condition, I wouldn't buy any car with
crank windows. I had enough of those and don't need any more...
