The climate control only comes on when the fan is in the number 4 or 5
position (left knob). The temperature adjustment (center knob) does not
change unless I switch the climates between say the defroster and one of the
other climate choices (far right knob). This issue is more of a nuisance
than a problem as I do not like to have the climate systen on at full blast
to enjoy the A/C althougth this will more than likly lead to complete
climate control failure in the future. Any ideas?

Possibly a faulty control head. Isnt this still under the 3/36 warranty?

Yes but taking the car to the dealer means having to rent a car for a week
while they figure it out. I just did this a few months ago when the inside
was flooding due to a drain hose from the A/C coming loose. I guess what I
am looking for is someone that experienced the same thing and what the
resolve was.
