You are going to have to connect a scan tool to monitor the sensor inputs
and outputs. A faulty map sensor or coolant temp sensor could be the problem

try a good valve cleaner or also try to replace the fuel filter i have
a 91 dodge caravan with a l4 2.5 that i just tore down and rebuilt my
self and it was running rough bfor and i found out that when i took
the head off it was all deposeted up on the valves so i cleaned em all
up and rebuilt the springs and boot seals in the head and now it runs
like brand new my other car is a 90 grand voyager that had a 3.3 liter
in it and i took out the engine and changed the wireing under the hood
and put in a 2.5 liter in it and it was running rough too so i dumped
in lucast oil treatment and now it runs fine and smooth so try a good
valve cleaner and also try to replace the fuel filte
