Signature"Ubuntu" -- an African word, meaning "Slackware is too hard for me". Normal vacuum readings. Your vent system is designed to default to the defrost position if you loose vacuum. You are loosing vacuum because the check valve is bad or you has a ruptured hose, or vacuum acuator.
