Hello,

I have a 1992 Dynasty, 3.3L, 4 speed auto trans. Yesterday while driving,
the speedometer dropped to 0. Then it twitched back to speed, then dropped
and stayed at 0. The cruise control also stopped working. Everything else
seems OK. I replaced the output speed sensor, but that didn't help. Any
suggestions?

I forgot to mention that, using the on-off-on-off-on-off method, I get a
code 15

Well, the vehicle speed sensor appears to be the issue. While I can't get
one anymore tonight, what I did was clean the contacts and reseat the
connector. Now the speedometer works. I still plan to replace the sensor,
but at least it is working for the work commute tomorrow morning.

you have a connector problem. :) the one just on top of the speed
sensorchange it or clean it. make sure it sits tight, bend the pins so
the ymight fit tight. . becarefull not to drive like that too long
becuase the transmision might be jumping up and down. I guess it did
happen to me, i'm not sure.
