Change the plug wires

neons had a problem with oil leaks from head gasket. that oil soaked the
harness under the exhaust manifold. the crank sensor wiring is in that
location.  the computer monitors the crank shaft speed to determine
misfires.  if swapping the plug wires 1 and 4 doesnt change the misfire and
you have equal compression on all cylinders. that would be a good place to
look.  that part of the harness is easy to repair since there are not that
many wires in that branch.  also had the same problem near the cam sensor,
your problem is more likely to be from the crank then the cam area.  the
wires would become fused together from the heat and oil the insulation would
break down and cause an intermitant stalling condition when hot.  also check
your crank sensor for any leaks out of the connector. crank sensor is
located under the alt.
good luck.

I changed the wire and the coil too, but the problem keep coming back,
i’m gonna check the wire of the crank sensor, thanks alot, for the
help, if my crank chaft sensor would be faulty, would’nt I  have a
code that would light?

I ’ll try to check the wire and i’ll come back to tell you if it
works, thanks again :O
