88 Dakota question

My brother drives an 88 Dakota and the filler neck where u put the gas
in is leaking pretty bad when he is pumping gas. It doesn't leak from
the tank, just the filler neck...I was wondering if I can change just
the filler neck, or do I have to change the whole tank? I haven't had a
chance to see if the neck is removable or not. Any help appreciated.

the filler neck is boltes to the bed there is a rubber hose that goes
to the tank check that hose to see if some one cut the hose to steal
the gas i see a lot of that these days
