i have just replaced the fuel pump, and it has fuel to the fuel rail,
it has ignition it was running until the fuel pump went bad. the only
things i seen is it is 2 quarts of oil low and they pushed the vehicle
home with another car bumper to bumper. anybody has an idea let me
know.

is the car a stick or auto and did you check the fuelpump fuse and are
you sure the fuel pump went bad does this car have the plastic tank
just questions i have to ask to see if it was your problems thinking
it is some thing else

is there a fuel pump reset in the trunk. If you pushed it bumper to bumper
it may need to be reset.

no thinks it is a power problem and not the pump look at the fuse box
by the battery and look at the wires by that box to see if here is
some rubbed through look for a white wire with a red stripe hat is the
main power wire off the key switch that runs the pump and other
things

thank you all for the ideas they were helpful. What the problem ended
up being was a defective new fuel pump regulator/ filter. and fuel
pump key on would have pressure when cranking the pressure and the
volume would drop enough the the car would not run. seplaced pump
again and it works fine.

Cheap chinese sourced parts?? Had that problem with an ignition coil
on my daughter's neon. Dealer part said in plain print "Made in China"
