1993 Grand Voyager Hesitation Problem -- Help!

Hi Folks,

I've been having a problem with my trusty old Voyager that no one seems
able to figure out.  Basically, when accelerating up an incline, the car
will hesitate, the RPMs will drop, then I can usually get it back up to
speed.  If I'm using the cruise control, the same thing will occur, but
the cruise control will not only disengage, it won't recall the previous
speed.  On two occasions, as we've reached the crest of an incline, the
car has simply died and would not re-start.  These resulted in long tow
trips.  The first time this happened, the garage claimed that it was an
electrical problem, probably stemming from a faulty ground.  They said
that it could be a computer issue and that it might need to be replaced.
Two weeks later, the car died again.  My regular mechanic (I was away on
vacation before) said that it was the computer.  We found a good used one
and I took it on a trip this weekend.  The same hesitation problems
continue.  I'm at my wit's end with this thing.  I do a lot of long
driving trips and can't afford to have it break down like this.  Does
anyone have a clue as to what the problem might be?  Many thanks in
advance.

Best,
Rob

Try replacing the crank & cam position sensors.
