"What is this on my F430?

There is what looks like a second set of brake calipers for the rear
wheels. It is black and about 1/3 the size of the brake calipers. I
think I even see a small brake pad on it. Does anyone know what this
is?"

...Verbatim.

The picture with which some guy decided to lend a hand to the
proceedings features what looks like a lacy nightgown or something
draped over the front seat.  Tablecloth?  Bad sheepskin job?  Laundry?

Pre-delivery or servicing plastic bag?

Well, my ideas sounded more consistent with a clown-faced yodeler ...

...I know not everyone knows as much about cars as I do, and I've
spent the greater part of my life in scientific pursuits, but really:
If you can afford an F430 it insults me if you're also a f.cking
moron.

Is it really that, or that they have an F430 and you don't?

On the other hand, I applaude your level of restraing against my fellow
Testarossa/Viper owner.  Most of you high and might types try (albiet
unsucessfully most of the time) to bash both the Viper and the
Testarossa.  I still have my Viper with the Roe supercharger and it
smashes anything else on the road.  It tracked at 202MPH in Dallas last
year.  How you can hate a car that does that...I dunno.

I did finally sell my Testarossa.  It had been sitting in my Phoenix
garage for far too long...

Then you should learn to look where you're driving.

>It tracked at 202MPH in Dallas last year.

That's nice. A garage near my house has a motorised four poster bed
which they drive around for publicity. The driver sits up in a
nightshirt and cap whilst driving it. I've not seen it go above 40,  but
I guess If they put a big enough truck engine in it, it could top 200...

...Of course he might lose a sheet or two, but you can't have everything
can you?

No.  I genuinely do have little tolerance or respect for the ignorant.

He's clearly in over his head, and there's no need to kick him.

Clearly he bought a TR on impulse, without even a PPI it seems, and is
only now doing the research.

They are what they are, and are therefore easily slighted.

Hate is the wrong word, they're only things.

How you can't understand the distinction between a scalpel and a
machete, is beyond my ken as well.

>I did finally sell my Testarossa.  It had been sitting in my Phoenix

Wrong choice.
