Ferrari says 0846 was scrapped, is no more:  That someone cobbled
together bits from the extensive Ferrari scrap heap to resemble 0846
is of no consequence, other than as art, whatsoever.

...Someone once said, iirc the creator of Passport radar detectors
when talking about actually using his 250 GTO, something along the
lines of 'as long as I don't melt the chassis plate I can always have
it rebuilt'.
