I have never heard of anything called the Serenissima 308 Jet Coupe.
According to the UCP blurb,

"Under a clear blue sky, the Grand Hotel Villa d'Este hosted the annual
Concorso d'Eleganza this past Saturday. First organized in 1929, it is
one of the oldest concours d'elegance in the world and as such has a
number of unique characteristics. One of these is the restricted access
to 'friends of the concours', the entrants and the media. Public were
welcome at the Sunday Villa d'Erba show. The number of entered cars was
limited to just 49, ranging from 1914 to 1974 in age, all of which were
of particular interest. Many were freshly restored or brought out of
hiding for the first time in many years. One of the bigger surprises was
the Serenissima 308 Jet that had not been seen for forty years and had
many of the visitors grabbing their catalogs to figure out what it was.
In addition to the historic vehicles there was a class dedicated to
modern concept and prototype vehicles. The Ferrari 575 GTZ and Russo
Baltique Impression Concept made for two impressive world premiers."

Btw imho that 575GTZ concept car is hideous, as is the one based on the
612 Scag.  I hope Mr. Glickenhaus' idea was conceived with a bit more
beauty in mind.

You shout and no one seems to hear.
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

sh.t, I just noticed this link brings you to the "general gallery" for
the event.  Just hit "Next Page" until you get to the page with the Jet
on it.  TBH, all the pics are great, but the Jet pictures are near the
end of that photo gallery.

Still no joy.

Great pictures, fatally flawed site design.

Hi Mark.  Do you mean that you weren't able to see the pic in question,
or just that it was a pain in the a.s to get to it.  Either way I
totally agree, the site is not set up very well.  But the "owners" of
the site are well respected in the motoring (Rob Clements, for sure).
They just went a "different" way on the site design.

That may teach utter morons like yourself to actually research the links
fully before you profligate this group
with just a 'smattering' of intelligence, I despise losers like you
costello, do us all a favour, go away and hang yourself.

..."Profligate", Gracie?

I'm thinking those without the least "'smattering' [sic] of
intelligence" should lead the way.
Eskalith - 06 Jun 2006 05:03 GMT
Wow.  You are so f.cking intelligent.  I will try to do better next time.
