I got to drive the real thing, a race-spec version around a racetrack last
week. Very impressive! :) My Mazda will never be the same again. :(

Shhhhhhmooooth!

I did a day trip to Pretoria a couple of weeks ago. I can't say that I
saw any Furries... a lot of Land Cruisers with 'Armed Response' written
across the back, but no furries.

Do people actually use cars like that on public roads down there? from
what I heard, you wouldn't keep it (or your life) very long if you did.

Apart from the occasional sportscar being boosted for a joyride, they are
safe. Too conspicuous to steal, easily spotted/found by the cops. Safest
cars on the road from a crime point of view.
