Sorry if this is a repost.

Reminds me of a customer we had.  Bought a 355 off ebay (it was a true
pig of a car) and drove it home from Texas.  It died in Vegas.  We made
it run and tried to make it "safe" (the tyres were so bald that case was
showing thru).  When the guy drove out of the shop he left rubber behind
and then stalled it in the driveway.  I knew he'd bend it.  It took
all of two days and he wrote it off against a palm tree.

Some people just can't have nice things.

I'll tell you something about that article and accompanying photo.  It
shows the lower and lower mentality of the world's brain dead and
alcohol-oversoaked citizens.  The dipfuck who got into the passenger
seat so the other dipfuck could shap a shot of him?  That stupid c.nt
who couldn't wait to get on his "blogger" and write an absolutely
self-congratulatory, not to mention completely asinine, account of what
he witnessed?  I'd like to shoot him in the head, along with all those
grinning f.cks at the pub and their f.cking camera phones.  The
technological explosion in which our world's moron population are
greedily bathing makes me f.cking puke.  Camera phones.  MySpace.
YouTube.  Blogs of every size and type.  WHO GIVES A f.ck???  WHEN DOES
IT END???

If it wasn't for places like seriouswheels.net and the other great car
photo and racing photo sites like swisscarsightings.com, fastautos.net
and ultimatecarpage.com, all the other racing and car sites I visit, FC
once in awhile, this newsgroup on occasion, sites about da Bears and the
Lakers, and my purposefully-limited email address list, I think I'd toss
my computer out the window.

OK, maybe I do enjoy plugging in Gran Turismo and Tourist Trophy into
the old Playstation once in a while - I am not a Luddite - but that's in
my home, subjecting any aspect of it to nobody else but me.

Maybe 10% of the information available on the internet is useable.  The
rest is pure f.cking unadulterated mindless-chest-thumping bullshit.
Our streets teem with extremely unintelligent people/kids/adolescents
who can't take their eyes off their f.cking phones or their PSPs or
Nintendos, people who don't belong in this country EVERYWHERE, boom cars
and fake tuner bullshitmobiles farting out horrid engine sounds and even
worse music ("Smack Dat" indeed), road rage driving, rudeness or
outright anger directed at us from total strangers, overmarketed
material-things bullshit advertising pumped at us everywhere - this is
all our civilization is going to end up being about?  I will be
delighted when, watching from above or below, this world finally cracks
open from the weight of all this utter sh.t bandied about.  I'll do my
best to try not to laugh.

Happy New Year all!

The invention of the biro did not create a new race of literary geniuses,
nor did the typewriter. I could drag this out to include paintbrushes,
cameras, synths and eventually I'd get around  to websites, blogs and all.
Whilst the signal to noise ratio gets worse in direct proportion to the
popular adoption adoption of the technology, the avantages of accessibility,
speed and facility make this a small price to pay. Communication is our only
hope of salvation.

Learn to filter, FFS ;-)

E-filtering does nothing - the stuff I mentioned is too prevalent.
Brain-filtering - also impossible.  Because of all the voices in there I
am unable to install filtering devices.  But thanks anyway!

PAI. That's not news.

Now hold on there just a minute. If not for YouTube, how would the rest
of us get to see things like this...

Now how cute is that?! Doesn't that make you smile?

Yeah, I always smile when I hear GP2 being played in the background!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww............. :-)

The thumbnail sure looks cute.  sh.t O/S doesn't have any time for
YouTube.  That would require a Flash upgrade installation which
apparently hasn't yet been sanctioned for use by sh.t O/S, because I
sure can't make it work.  I never thought the day would come when I'd be
pining for Windows.

It's a sleepy, baby kitty. Doesn't get much cuter.

Oh, and just as far as news goes, my sister just had her second, baby
boy. He is thus far unnamed, but his older brother (who is 3) is
lobbying hard to call the kid "Cheetah". Perhaps it's because I dated a
guy named "Tiger", but I don't think that sounds too bad!

<<Jesus ?>>

Heh. No, silly, my _other_  sister. The one who makes me look
conservative.

But the booze-soaked Ferrari owner gets a pass?

You mean the tow driver behind the wheel of the RHD antipodean
vehicle?

Thanks, Doc.  Yep, don't need much help in that department ...

Please Mark, PLEASE don't tell me this means you loathe me, because I'm
reading hard here ... I don't actually give a sh.t what nearly every
human on this planet thinks about me, but ironically five or six of the
people who *are* on the list of those about whose opinion I give a sh.t
are in this NG ....

DOC
Why Mark, what an ugly thing to
Say!  Does this mean you're not my
Friend anymore?  You know, Mark, if
          I thought you weren't my friend I
Don't think I could bear it.

...yee-ah.

Considering custom and experience, I just thought you were far over
the top on this one.  ...Berating an eyewitness to a grand and
criminal stupidity for relating his story via the internet:  When did
you stop living in a glass house?

Can't afford glass.  Glad-Wrap now.  Easily perforated.
