Not to mention the foolishness of collecting the Maranellos in the
same category as the loathsomely styled 599.

And what is this based on? Personal preference? Current price? Power?
Ferrari Owner Club standards?

One of my all time favourites. I got turned on to it by a buddy who
showed me a very early issue with a photo of a Boxer in it. I
subscribed right away. Can it really be twenty years ago?

I meant the monthly, often incomprehensible, Spy List, but the topical
100s were a hoot as well.

Firstly, may I sincerely thank you for a provocarive, Ferrari-related post.
Secondly, 308 'bottom tier'? YOU ARSE! I HAVE LOVED THAT CAR SINCE IT CAME
OUT!
I RISKED CANCER AND SMOKED MARLBORO JUST TO HAVE A CHANCE OF
WINNING ONE IN A COMPETITION IN 1984! ..and now, a millenium later, I am
fortunate enough to own one...
...and not just any one, but the exact model that featured in the Marlboro
competition.
Ayhoooooo, good post.
Just wrong, is all ;-)

Mind you, F40 as top tier works for me.

Do you know _anything_ about Ferraris? These should be in a supetier,
above your current top tier. I have lusted after a 512TR since I was a
schoolboy ...

...And I wonder how your schoolboy fantasies should trump the reality

bottom market value?
It shouldn't even be in the company it is (OK, it belongs with the
348), in this admittedly foolish categorization.
