Had a great weekend at Amelia Island. Lots of great cars on display as
usual, but the highlight for me was the Carrera Panamerica cars.

Great stuff. Thanks for sharing. I'm not buying into the "125S First
Ferrari" crap tho'. It's a pity that they took the Spyder Corsa body
off it (which had history) and replaced it with the knock off of the
125S. People just cannot accept that the first two cars are GONE.
Also nice to see 0715SA there. It's that rare thing, and "unrestored"
early Ferrari.
Thanks again!

(Who is thankful the owners of 0286AM used the 1954 tailfin bodywork
instead of the "Correct" 1953 version....)

Cool pics! Glad you had fun.
Not sure why, but recently my dad has gotten interested in the
Panamericana. He's never, ever wanted a Mustang before, but now he's
talking about running one in Mexico.

Is there a modern version of the race now? Or just an idea of following
the route? Sure would be nice to have a time-machine and go back to see
those car run during their prime.
Wasn't crazy about the graphics on the 599's that ran the route recently.
