Ok, this weekend is a nightmare for Ferrari with little to show for their
'effort'.
Early spin from Massa and Kimi off track on a regular basis before retiring.
Not only that but Bordais (sp?) ferrari engine gave up when he was in a
good position at the end...

Certainly hope things will be different next week!

Best Wishes

Yeah, that was PAINFUL to watch... especially Kimi's motocross effort only a
few laps after running so wide it was *straight on* at the same turn 3 :/

At least he and Felipe showed plenty of speed, I guess, so if Felipe and
Kimi can stay on the track, the next race should be good!

The manfall was incredible this race, only 7 finished in teh end, is this a
sign of things to come? It was nice to see 3 different teams on podium
though (godd for Ferrari to as noone runs away with constructors). Looks
like hamilton will be the man to beat this season though.

Best Wishes
Thomas

I've attended a few Melbourne GP's (though thankfully not this year!), and
there always seems to be a high attrition rate for some reason. Maybe it's
just because it's the first GP of the year and a few things break :).

Compounding this this year, of course, was the very high track and ambient
temperatures. Believe me, it was stinking hot in Melbourne on race day :)

Hard to remember a time when both Ferraris had engine issues like this
(France 1996 maybe).  Also felt bad for Seabass, he was having a great
start to his F1 career.  Maybe that McLaren/Microsoft ECU has a special
"Ferrari Engine destruct" function built in.
