Anyone know of a source to get new gauges?

Also maybe an aftermarket source that may be able to
update them to digital?

The instrument clusters on the 550, 575, and 430's are so
depressing I can't stand it.

The gauges look like they are from 1975.

The burning red numbers and needles on the 288 GTO's
and Testarossa - 512M are awesome in my opinion.

The new stuff holds no interest for me.

Also with Testarossa/512 seats how does Classiche update
them or replace them when they aren't being made anymore
and when Connolly is out of business and not making hides
for Ferrari anymore?

Best & thanks,

D.H.

You're kidding right?  If not, try 1980s Vettes.

AFAIK, Classiche hasn't weighed in on these cars yet.  They say that
they deal with "Ferrari's GT cars over 20 years old" which would qualify
the early cheese graters, but 99.9% of Classiche's focus is pre 1980
carbed cars.

There are Connolly hides out there for a price.  Also, there are German
hides that look the part and actually are better than original.

If by "better than original" you mean 'indistinguishable from
*genuine* naugahyde.'.

Nope, I mean exactly what I wrote.  I'm putting German leather in my GTE
and I'd never put Naugahyde in any Ferrari unless it came that way from
Pininfarina.

German leather is horrible.  Might as well be plastic.

Then you must know more than the top Ferrari restoration shops in the
country.
