This one apparently fools 99 out of 100 people....seems he got a bargain for
the $40,000 he spent on it!

I love it - 216 mph out of 343 bhp ... a "black mohair hood" ... and the
ever popular Tiff Needel "aluminium" panels.

This thing could almost pull Enzo out of his grave to spin him in the air
... somebody kill me now.

Keep 'em coming, I!

You can't beat this guy for honesty and a GREAT sense of humor (click back

Good Lord ... that is just hideous - and he *still* bollocks it up further
by putting shields on it!  What could be worse than replicar repli-shields?

The factory putting "real" shields on non-factory-team race cars.

...For a price

[RETCH!!!]

...But you knew that.

Yes I did.  Hell, they put 'em on non-any-team NON-race cars now.

What happened to St. Augustine?  You didn't hurt him, did you?

I was having a bit of trouble parsing that; that's what I meant.

"You want SF shields on a 456...  Are you _f.cking_ stupid?"

>What happened to St. Augustine?  You didn't hurt him, did you?

He was crushed by Sisyphus' rock, over in r.a.s.f1 (they didn't even
get the reference)...  I felt putting him down was the better course.

I *wish* a salesman at a dealership would have the balls to say that.  But
no, instead it's "Have you checked our Scaglietti upgrade progam, Mr. Pig
Rich?  These shields would be lovely on that Rossa Corsa."

OK - as long as he didn't feel any pain.

A repli-car with shields and a "wood 'Momo' steering wheel with Ferrari
emblem on horn plate"

<Puke>

Ever notice how every replica ebay ad starts with "this is an amazing car"
or
"this is an outstanding example"? Then you read further and find there's a
2.8L V6 under the hood or a 305 TBI motor or other such crap. I don't
care if they fool people who don't know jack sh.t about cars, I'd never
cruise around in a tarted-up Fiero...

As for the 308 that was "converted", I don't buy the 218mph claim at all.
Heavily modified vehicles don't age well, and this one getting a quickie
respray to sell it doesn't inspire confidence... Lotsa 328 bits added too,
wonder if the car's a salvage deal...

It's a Koenig, damnit!!  Didn't you read the ad??

;^)

How right you are about not aging well ... I'm sure that "heavily modified"
motor can barely wheeze to life.

Actually, even worse "Full Koenic Body Kit, and Koenic Turbo"
its a Koenic - so either its got koenig and the guy just knows nothing about
that, or its a koenic, and just sad

Could "Koenic" imply the Koenig bits were stolen?

Omigod!  Koenig knock-offs?  I never thought of that.
