...is there any reason why a 1988-89 ABS equipped 328 cannot be fitted
with the infinitely more beautiful concave campagnolo wheels instead of
the factory fitted convex ones (same as in the Mondials of that period)?

Never tried it but I'd guess they might not fit.

Thanks! They took less than 24 hours to answer. They answered that the
factory had to change the wheels because of the different suspension
set-up the ABS cars had. Strange, since size was exactly the same, but true.

Yep, well, they're like that.....

Akshually (!) I quite like my convex wheels. Besides which they seem to be
painted & laquered which makes them much easier to clean!
