Um... well, good concert on the Friday at Rouen (Pascal Obispo), nice trip
to see the sharks at Nausicaa on Sunday and a quick stop over in Brugge
before hypermarche shopping on Monday.... and... um.... I got caught doing
169kmh by Jolly Jaques le Gendarme :-(  Pictures on my web page to follow
shortly.

Ouch. Instead of ...?

At least you'll "only" have a fine to pay (if you already didn't).

If I'm caught, I'll be also losing points on my driving license (or my
full driving license if caught more than 40 km/h above the limit).

I should have done that before, but this is an annoucement to any
Ferraristi (or sportscaristi of any brand) intending to drive in France
these days: the climate is very much against speed on roads these days,
some speedophobia is installing itself.

So, many many speedtraps (including automatic ones) are being put in
place, and even other drivers are giving strange looks to fast cars and
fast drivers...

My Crew Chief wants to know why you bothered to stop. <g>

Little thing called a toll barrier a few miles ahead... :-(  Something tells
me
that they might just have had another car full of Gendarmes waiting...

Excuses, excuses. Don't tell me that you've never taken that 308 offroading. My
Crew Chief had an exciting, off road excursion at the track just the other day.
Of course, he blames the broken, left, front wheel, but them's just more
excuses.

Only once. However on this occasion I was in my Alfa...
...if I'd been in the 308 the fine would have been a lot worse.
