Major F1 rule changes for 2008

FIA have finally lost it... Some changes are good, others shocking.

For 2008:
Engines have to be 2.4 V8, 4 valves/cylinder max (restricting valve number &
cylinders seems silly)
manual gearboxes & clutches (this isn't a bad one IMHO)
variable geometry inlet and exhaust systems would be banned (rubbish!)

and a whole lot more shenanigans:

I would like to have a roadgoing Ferrari 1000 kg max and a 2.4 V8 F1 based
engine, a true 308GTB or 246 Dino successor!

Wow. Them's some serious changes.

On a side note, I can't stand that website now. Before it got taken over as the
*official* F1 site, it was much better. Easier to find info and more
aesthetically appealing.
