Brilliant team strategy makes it 7 wins out of 8 races this year in F1.
I think that this year is an amazing accomplishment for the team.
So many victories and championships and consecutive.  The team and driver
will go down in F1 history as very likely Ferrari's greatest period.

"7 wins and one Montoya" ;)
Like many others I was in a bit of gloom and doom mode after the qualifying,
but then I had forgotten that there are some serious brains in the Ferrari
team and how flexible they are (add reliable material and excellent pit crew
to that). The top cars failed to take advatage of front row and didn't pull
away enough and that was basically it, Ferrari quickly adapted their
strategy and won the race in the pits. Rubens and Michaels talk about a
"fight" between them is pure BS though, Barri was way faster at that point
but clearly wasn't allowed to pass...
In the end it was a fairly nice day though, 2 Ferraris and 2 Schumachers on
the podium and another historic mark for Schumie, all around happiness in
both 'families'. :)

Best Wishes

Well, I'm a tifosi but also a F1 fan, and I must admit that it was
perfectly boring.

Winning a GP in the pits is certainly evidence of the brains and skills
of that team. But as a mere viewer I also think it is as un-interesting
as possible.

I'd prefer a bit more drama in that sport, like in football for instance
(oops, sorry for the English friends here ;-)

I'm going to steal that, thank you.

I'm not so sure:  It tool him several laps to get around Kimi, FFS;
what chance did he really have against Schumacher in an identical car?

Uhm...  Williams and Toyota were DQ'd for extra-legal braked ducts.

Go ahead :)
Serieously, Montoya is a hazard out there (Just ask Ralf).

On the race as a whole, no chanse whatsoever, at that particular point
though his car was running much better and smoother I think, Schumy clearly
had to work harder with his. Had the car in front of Barri been any other
than Schumies I think he would have passed though (OK, with the exception of
Inigo or Sato, he's not THAT suicidal ;) ).
In the later stages of the race Schumie was back on track though and there
was nothing Barri could have done.

Oups, missed that.. Means Glock was moved up then and have recorded a quite
nice first ever result ;)
Extra points for Barri and Ferrari too (like they need them right now? ;) ).

Best Wishes
Thomas
