This sort of thing is no better when it's done to Porches.

My God ... I don't know what the hell that is, but it's one of the most
disgusting thing on four wheels I've ever seen ...

Kind of says it all doesn't it?

The first of these things appeared on ebay when the real CGT was only a
prototype. They build them from pictures then, I assume. It looks too small
to be convincing.
I think the real CGT is ugly too, with the 914 roofline.

It's another Fiero turd... 2.8L 60 degree V6 with pushrods,
how exotic...

I like it alright, but there are other Porsches I like better.

That's right, I said "I like Porsches". I'm here, I like Porsches,
get used to it. Errr something like that.

Tuned to 35 HP more than my quad cam 3.0L 90 degree V8...
But the rest off the car probably still has the shopping-cart wheelbearings,
cd-sized brakes, etc, everything build to a (low) price.

Those are good cars, a Porsche owner made a good purchase and I respect
their choice.

True!

Allegedly. If there's anything I've learned after working where
I have for the last three years it's that HP numbers that come
from the owner without backup by dyno sheets are always,
_always_ way high. Only the most realistic person even
comes close to guessing what hp they make after modifications.
I've seen one well-built Fiero motor and a slew of turds, so
I'm betting on "turd" here as well. Actually I take that back,
that one Fiero had a 3.4L swap.

Exactly.

Can there be any actual Fieros in their original guise remaining?  Can MR2
versions be far behind?

...Yet still not as bad as the real thing.
