Well, Tiger, you made the telecast this time!  When you spun there near
the end, Lee Diffey noted it was you and said something about you having
problems with the track all day.  Anyway, at least I got to see your car
more than a few times.

It was an interesting race.  Beautiful track.  The Johnny O' Connell
stories were funny.  And being able to listen to the in-car sounds of
those CTS-Vs is awesome.

<<Well, Tiger, you made the telecast this time!>>

They almost always get me screwing up on camera.

<<When you spun there near the end, Lee Diffey noted it was you and said

I spun in that same turn on the first lap. So stupid. It would have been a
beautiful pass if I hadn't overcooked it. Just stupid. I flattened a tire and
was totally lucky that there was a full course caution that gave my crew time
to change the tire and get me back around the track to catch up with the field
before it went green again. I then spent a number of laps chasing down a few
cars and was doing quite well when... I screwed up again and they caught it on
camera.

<<Anyway, at least I got to see your car more than a few times.>>

Did you see Woodward spin behind me on the front straight on that restart? Holy
moley! He spun three times in the dirt right next to the wall, came back on
track into a miraculous clear space and drove out of it. It was beautiful. And
one of the luckiest things I've ever seen. Don't know how he screwed it up and
don't know how he managed to avoid wrecking.

<<It was an interesting race.  Beautiful track.>>

It's a great spectator track.

<<The Johnny O' Connell stories were funny.>>

He apologized to all of us in the drivers' meeting. Apparently last year he'd
been ragging on us about our braking. That was before he'd driven a World
Challenge car. It seems that compared to the ALMS Corvettes, the brakes on the
CTS-V suck.

I know how good the brakes are on World Challenge cars. I've never had any
complaints. Clearly, I gotta get me some of those carbon brakes.

C. :::who is wondering if she already told this story:::
