I am definitely hoping for a Barrichello win here.  He was absolutely
SMOKIN'! on that pole lap.

The Schumi Luck has turned into the Schumi Curse these last few races.
He still had the luck after that crash, though.  Oh well, he can still
bask in brilliance - let's have Rubinho make it 16 of 18 for The Big Red
One!!

You raise the blade, you make the change
You re-arrange me 'til I'm sane.
You lock the door
And throw away the key
There's someone in my head but it's not me

It's too much to hope for.

Always the killjoy.  Farfalen ... the chochem always has the last word.

"Lost [farfolen] ... The wise man always has the last word"?

¿Que?

...Hey, no one, save Rubens and his family, would be happier to see
him win, I've met him a couple of times and he's a tremendously nice
guy, and he drives for the only team I care about.  But if you know
any of his history in the Brazilian GP you must realize the chance of
his even finishing is extremely slight, making that of his winning
highly improbable.  It's just reality.

I remember last season ... believe me.  I'm crossing my fingers, about
two more hours now.

And so it wasn't to be.  And somehow I got the impression that Michael's
interest waned at times, as well.

I guess Christian Klien doesn't really like Mark Weber.

What is the deal with the Minardi team, anyway? How can they come in
there week after week and get their a.s kicked, doesn't that get
particularly expensive?

Rubens even finishing was a moral victory, his finishing on the third
step a real one.

That one's down to Weber.

Minardi, pre Paul Stoddard used to spend less than Ferrari's pasta
budget.  While under Guido Minardi's control they were one of the last
true privateer teams with a long if not storied history in the sport.
Now they're a vanity plate for one of the most obstreperous and
contrary figures to ever walk the paddock, and with Ron Dennis still
involved that's saying quite a lot.

That says it all.  Thanks.  I suppose Jordan is nearing similar status.
This is OT, I know, but I don't wish to head off to r.a.s.f1.  But I
have to admit that it is all such a fascinating circus, almost alive.
It's like Bob Varsha, David Hobbs, and Steve Padgett are my three good
friends over for a drink on Sunday.  The choreography the teams with
which the teams seem to operate is incredible.  Renault ebbs and flows
like a bright anemone in a tide pool.  BAR dances right on the edge of
credibility, Toyota seems to dance right off it, and Williams and
Mercedes do this ballet of uncertainty.

Ferrari is the bully at the school dance, standing against the wall
outside the gymnasium door with the best looking girl at the school.
His hand inches up her leg, above the skirt.

I was screaming at my TV over that one. What a crappy way to end in F1.

Yes, but when you love racing. It's worth it.
