Can I pick your collective brains for a moment? The speedo on my 1987 3.2
Mondial has started misbehaving. Up to 90 mph it seems fine but at about 100
mph the indicator starts behaving like a winscreen wiper. The problem seems
to disappear when the car is thoroughly warmed through. I suspect it is a
fault in the gearbox sender unit but would be grateful for any views.

Many thanks,

Martin.

Sending Unit.  Had similar problem on my 328, except it usually
didn't
send at all until warmed up.
