Kerrr...pow... this one is for you, Hunter.

The funkraum pulls-out leading a three-ship unit swinging north, deep,
deep in enemy territory and approaching radar alley.

Obituaries not my favorite turn of prose....but...

All people view the world through the lens of their perception. Hunter
viewed it through his lens and told it like he saw it within his
writings. And it was for this which we loved him.

The images projected were the screaming tortured monsters of the id -
that which inhabits the everyday shell, and gives the clay life. The
images were only disturbing to those who had not already realised they
were there, for

"He who makes a beast of himself relieves himself of the pain of being
a man"

A-close-personal-friend-whose-opinion-I-trust .... met him at one or
two parties in the Seventies. But said that HST did not receive as
many invitations as he would have done due to his propensity to draw
and shoot at garden ornaments, architectural features, et cetera.

The sort of guy you could trust. Share adventures with. Definitely not
the kind of guy who would have a blank professional video tape left on
the front seat of a guy's Ferrari.

I shall be back, perhaps not for some months to come. But Hunter will
never be.

Damn - is this what it takes to bring you back?

One of these fine days we'll share a glass.

You'll be welcomed most warmly.

Carpe diem!

Paul.

The man clearly knew exactly what he was doing.

Omigod.  OMIGOD.  The Funk lives!!!!  Is it time to revive the saga?
(Not that anybody gave a sh.t about the last installment, considering
the ... underwhelming response.)

Great to have you back on board, as mysterious as you are.

Well ... that was rather fawning and pathetic.  Sorry.  I just always
felt that you and the Speaker were two of the more intelligent and fun
gentlemen on this board, and that my frequent over-the-top, profane
blasts might have contributed to your leaving.  I just wanted you both
to know that those outbursts were from a different time, a different MC,
that I am now fully f.cking cured, and that I will never be putting up
posts meant only to level some low-life-a.shole, weaselly, brain-dead,
non-Ferrari-loving, group-insulting motherf..kers any more.  Never
again.  Not once.  You can count on it.
