What would be a good price for an 88 Testarossa, red over black interior.
13,000 miles.
Owned by someone with several Ferraris, now has an Enzo on order, and is
selling the TR.
Mechanic is a friend of a friend, says he's finishing up $9,000 in work,
including major service.
Car is in very good to excellent visual shape.

Also, constrast this to purchasing a 355, how much more would you expect to
pay for the oldest 355 with about 40000 miles?

Is the Euro currently at a one to one ratio with the USD?  Thank you for the
opinion.

NO.  That would be around $59K to $65K US.  That's a pretty good price,
actually, for what is admittedly a pretty old Testarossa, provided it's in
the shape you say it's in.  JMO, but with that model line I think you'd be
better off spending more and getting the later 512TR or F512M.

Here's a currency-converter link for you so you can perform these
calculations yourself quickly:

I haven't been blessed with international business, but I'm not turning it
down.  In the meantime, I tend to work in dollars.  Thank you for the link.
