1/2 Ferrari? half a car? or is it half sized? or is it one of  two?

> -13,888 miles

Since 1988!?!? That's just 925 miles a year - no wonder it sounds so
good. Even Iaiaiain has done more miles than that!

The 1988 1/2 has the newer 1989-style wheels, door handles, and interior
door handles.  The regular 1988 models did not have these items in common
with the 1989 models.

Yes, the mileage is original at 13,888.  The car is basically as nice as
they come.

I don't know about anybody else, Satish ... but I'm feeling a bit used.  All
you ever come into this group for is to sell your car ...

;^)

I know....everytime I want to sell it...I decide not to.  Kinda reluctant.

You mean its an ABS car? (convex wheels instead of concave)

I.

No, 1988 1/2 had the upgraded wheels, door panels, and door handles without
the ABS...hence the "1/2" nomenclature.

Well....what should it be priced at?  I simply based it on what the latest
issue of Ferrari Marketletter and Hemmings had others priced at.  Took all
the prices of late model 328s with under 15K miles and divided by total
number of those cars to come up with an average figure.

It's not a bargain basement car..I'm not ready to "dump it" in a "fire
sale".  When the right buyer wants one of the best possible 328s there is,
they'll consider it highly.  I'm somewhat flexible in the price if the
market trend shows otherwise.  However, it's not a run of the mill 328.
Many of which have worn seat bolsters, dyed leather seats, vague history,
paintwork, etc.  Mine is the type that a high-end, francised Ferrari dealer
would have in his showroom for sale.

PS,

I just went on Ebay and checked on 1986-1989 328GTS' under the "COMPLETED
ITEMS" section.  1986 and 1987 cars with 45K miles on them are receiving
18-20 bids and reaching nearly $45,000.  My car has 13,888 miles and is a
late 1988 1/2 model.  I think that commands a premium of at least 10% taking
into account color, mileage, and services done.

That said, I feel comfortable knowing that I can stick my car on Ebay any
day of the week and expect to get much more than $45K since 1986 models with
nearly 50K miles are SOLD for $43-$45K all day long (more than one auction).
