And it's done...

Fangio set the record in 1957 with his 5:th Drivers Championship title.
Schumacher broke it in 2003 with his 6:th title
Ferrari is once again the constructors champions...

Goes to show, there's just not anything like Ferrari!

Best Wishes

And that was really one hell of a race - perhaps not the most technically
brilliant, by anybody, but there was certainly never a dull moment.
Sometimes the kind of driving Michael was doing last night to move up from
14th to at least 8th - which is exactly what he did, is the greatest treat.
A rather nasty in-your-face block to Ralf, at one point there.

And Rubens - once again proving that it is best to have a less exciting
"team player" on your side instead of a hotshot you're never sure is going
to look out for you if you're in the top spot and need your back gotten
(read: Coulthard and Raikonnen/Montoya and Ralf, perhaps?).  He delivered
like the Mailman.

I enjoyed this season.  Good riddance to Villeneuve and much admiration for
Mr. Alonso.  I suppose we need to look out for Mr. Bourdais in the next
season or two.

Congratulations to the boys in red.

Thomas, my advice - and you certainly didn't ask for it - you need to find
yourself a very quirky young feline to replace Rommel, and quick.  Don't
talk yourself out of it.  That's an order.

Incidents and accidents, changing of positions, the constant threat of rain
to mess up strategies, Kimmis race to win and Schumachers to score a
point... There was enough to keep it interesting.

Rubens realy pulled his weight today and earned his paycheck, his race was
blameless and although we all know Schumacher built the points needed to win
the constructors it WAS Rubens who finished and sealed it with his win.

Kimmi was good, but to be honest he didn't deserve to win a title, not yet..
he undoubtedly will be in the running time and time again, but not just yet.
Sato did well to, earnins almost as many points in his first race as his
predecessor in the entire season ;)
One can always argue that the new points system is f*ed when Schumies is
fighting Kimmi for the title with his 6 wins vs. 1..
