Anyone watch it? (other than me)

Mansell (52) and Fittipaldi (58) fighting as if it mattered. Great
stuff.

Not on here sadly.  Sounded good tho'.  Hopefully Speed or Setanta will
pick it up.  The only non-US sport we got here this weekend (it's
'merkin Football season after all...) was WC quallys (not that that's a
bad thing) and Tiger Woods in China.

Of course!

Sort of....much pussy-footing around for the first 10 laps or so - can't say
I blame them though. I think the ensuing races will be much better once
they've had some time in the cars & get them onto better circuits Monza is
mooted as is Silverstone. Course, what we really need is to get them onto
Spa!

>Great  stuff.

Not half as great as Murray.....(!) 82 & still screwing up nicely. Something
about Fittipaldi not having raced in Europe for 11 years (whilst
commentating on him racing in South Africa!)

He is the king. Mined ewe, what he said about Fittipaldi was probably
true (just not relevant).

And now... Ladies and gentlemen, Mr Murrrrrrrrrrrrrayyyyyyyy

Murray Walker:" And there are flames coming from the back of Prost's car
as he enters the Swimming Pool."
James Hunt: "Well that should put them out then."
-
Murray : And Coulthard is now on the inside, AND HE'S GOING THROUGH!!!
Martin Brundle: That's a replay, Murray.

it has a roof."

"IF.... is a very long word in Formula 1... ...in fact IF is F1 spelt
backwards!"

"Mansell is slowing it down, taking it easy. Oh no he isn't! It's a lap
record."

Lol :-)

Is it a general rule that F1 TV commentators haven't got a clue? In
France we have the priceless former pilot Jacques Laffitte, who has
become famous for gems such as the one you're quoting.

He was in the GPM race on Sunday - retired after about 10 laps & a coming
together with someone else. Looked like he didn't have a clue where he was!
