I suppose they're calling the paddle shift kit an automatic tranny.
Otherwise, it looks legitimate.  I don't think a broker like the one
listed would lay their rep on the line for what wouldn't even exit as a
fake.

Sad to see them go like this, though.  The bidding seems out of control.
I wonder how many of the bids are accurate.

***************************************

On the subject of "getting old", I got two wrong numbers from the same
idiot tonight.  After the first one, I told them they had the wrong
number, goodbye, and then hung up.  After the second one my reply was
somewhat curt but not angry, and then I hung up.  Then, I get another
call which I ignore and they leave a message stating "You little f.ck,
you better be nice on your telephone or <giggle from background), or
I'll kill you.

I have both numbers the fool called from, and the message.  Now, my
normal response would be to immediately call them back, offer to meet
them at the local supermarket parking lot, and ask if they'd like me to
bring machete, baseball bat, or hunting knife.  Maybe something about
feeding their scrotum to my roommate's dog.  My second possible response
would be to scream unintelligibly, and then repeat first response.  My
third, and most distant, response would be to call the police, give them
the numbers, play them the message if required, and nothing else.

I went with 3.  I wonder, what is happening to me?  That is not what I
wanted to do.  I wanted to zoom in and deal death.  But somehow, with
children and all in my life, I realized that sitting in jail for taking
such retaliatory action, OR being in the hospital or the ground because
they brought a gun to the party, wasn't right.  I am getting soft.  I am
eating too much cereal and watching too much "Teen Titans" on Cartoon
Network when I should be sticking with raw steak and "Commando" or
"Enter The Dragon".  I am Grasshopper instead of Warrior.  That kind of
sh.t.

I am old.  I am weak.  My balls are shriveled.  It is the end.

But "Teen Titans" is a great show.

death,
Never bring a knife to a gun fight. :-) You did take the correct course
although not as much fun as option #1.

Thanks.  I really wouldn't have known what kind of fight it was until I
got there - not the best setup.

I suppose I'm too old to fight anyway.

I also think most of the bids are bullshit.  And how about that VIN?

High bidder's a 21 year old kid who's "Saving for college" and who's
biggest purchase listed was an iPod (and various "socks" for iPods , WTF
is that!?!?!).  Oh, and a few concert tickets (Backstreet Boys and
NIN??) round out the rest of his activity.  I'm sure he's sitting on
Two.some mil ready to move up from his Subaru sti to a nice Enzo.

Check him out.

Coulda sworn that the auction text said the bidder's identities were
supposed to be secret. Guess that's as wrong as the rest of it.

That's the truth.  But I don't even think the kid's profile is
straight-up.  The writing about his life indicates schizophrenia.  And
what kind of a f.cking idiot would put a piece of terrible feedback on
his profile (out of his alleged 110 feedbacks he gives us two good and
one really bad - what a moron)

Can we just go ahead and legalize genocide again?  I'll take point.

And that pic of his girlfriend or mother is the sickest, ugliest beast
ever captured on film.

<<Eh? Automatic transmission?>>

Yeah, that's stupid. From the auction text...

<<. Its gearbox is the result of the transfer of F1 strategies,
delivering gear change times of under 100 ms. This is almost as fast as
the F1 single-seaters>>

Well, first, I don't believe that it does shift that quickly, but even
so, I wouldn't call being 10 times slower than an F1 car "almost as
fast".

Those cars remind me of the 512s. Only they're ugly.

And the photos from the Press Launch just happen to be the ones used in
the add!  Yeah right.

Since the twenty people getting the cars are amongst the "Elite Corse
Clienti" I cannot believe that anyone in that position would attempt to
sell them on just yet (especially on eBay!).  AFAIK the cars can't even
leave the factory during the early part of the program.
