How do I remove rear wiper arm from 1994 Tipo 1.4i.e. Don't want to tu
at it too much with no knowledge seeing as washer jet attached. I wan
to remove as I can hear the wiper motor working but the arm doesn'
move. Was wondering if it was just slipping. Thanks

Lift plastic over cover and undo retaining nut.  Wiper locates over a very
fine splined and tapered shaft.

Check for swarf that would indicate loss of mutual grip.

Test wiper with arm removed.  If  if the drive shaft does not rotate then
you will have to look at the motro assembly.

Ta for that. I did have right idea but plastic cover doesn't seem t
want to move easily and was worried about washer jet on it. I'll jus
use brute force and take the consequences

Tried your suggestion. Can't lift plastic cover (as you would o
ordinary wiper). Managed to move the rubber grommet (between body an
wiper) out of the way and all there is is something that looks like
collar (which looks as though it's split a little) but no nut to undo
also there would be no way to lift it off cos tube to washer (which i
built in to cover) has no spare length. Any more suggestions. Wish
could get a book for the damned thing
