Is it possible to reset the service light on my Stilo 1.9 JTD without
specialist tools or visiting a Fiat Garage?

It's just bloody annoying!

Cheers

You could try holding the trip counter reset button down with the ignition
off and then turning the ignition on, continue to hold for a few seconds and
then release.

Please report back if this works.

Just tried that suggestion, I'm afraid it didn't work. Thanks anyway.

I have the same niggling problem with my Stilo - my Citroen car includes a
section on this in the manual.  shame on you FIAT.

try - "with the service counter caption in the LCD, press and hold then trip
counter reset button for a loooong time, then release or press the menu
button until exit appears"?

just a guess!
