I want to buy me a Fiat 124, are here some experts for that car, which can
give me some tips for a buy?

make sure when you DO find a scrap heap    ...    they MUST pay you to take
it away   ...   OR

Hi Johannes Utz, older Fiats generally are okay apart from rust /
corrosion. So, depending on your location (dry and dusty vs. wet and
salty) rust is the most obvious area to look out for. Pay attention to all
box sections, jacking points, look closely in the boot / trunk wells.
Petrol tanks can be a problem too. Mechanicals etc are fairly reliable
though.
