This is my first post here.

I am desperately trying to find help with my connect nav+. I recently
purchased this from ebay. I have managed to wire the unit up but there
are to main problems,

1. When I power the unit up it asks for a master code. I have tried
various ways to get round this but with no joy. Any ideas :?:

2. How do I wire the microphone to the unit? Where are the wires at
the rear of the unit and where does it plug into :?:

Any help with the above would be much appreciated as I am slowly
loosing faith.

Ouch!

I think you will need to seek more expert help here.

The Connect+ Units do have a security code.  If you were not provided with
this code and it is not on a label on the unit then you will have to pursue
a Fiat dealer to get the information.  To be honest I'm not sure how this
will really work in practice as I've no had to go down this route.  In the
UK the data is centrally registered with a company and 'authorised' agents,
e.g. dealer or AA (UK) can get the information.

I suggest you start investigation the dealer and other automotive specialist
to see if they can help.

I remember reading on the fiat forum (http://www.fiatforum.com/forum/)
that sometimes these were coded to the ECU for security, if so you're
screwed!
The article was under the stilo menu.

I had my Connect+ Sat Nav replaced under warranty due to an iffy key.  The
replacement unit had it's own security code.  I also recall that some items
in Fiats are also encoded with the master and ecu system.   For repair and
testing there must be a bypass or alternative code/system circumvent ecu
locking!

Again a Fiat Dleaer is the place to go and ask.
