My Explorer does not like to warm up in the mornings. It will not idle for
a long enough time, it accelerates to a high speed and then dies during
its warm up. What if anything is causing this? And how could I fix it?

Sounds like the idle air control valve.  Do a Google search and you
will find a bunch of information about it.
