My 95 explorer surges when at running speeds, like 30 mph and above. It idles
fine and you can feel the surges just a little when running above idle and
in gear. The check engine light comes on after you go several miles or
so.You can hardly feel the surges(like small misfires) they are constant
and more noticed at about 40 mph and then can barely be felt at higher
speeds.Would appreciate any advice.....ronnie

See my reply to Dedge. The light is trying to tell you something..... all
that's needed is for someone to "listen" to it
