The leaf springs "squeaking" on my 95 EB is sounding worse by the day.
Looking through the NG I see some recommendations for spraying the leaf
springs with lubricant. Would a silicon lubricant work for this
purpose? Also see a recommendation to replace the leaf springs "pads".
What exactly are these, and how difficult to replace.

I used an Amsoil product, Synthetic 5th wheel and open gear compound.
it's a spray grease that stays where it's sprayed {most tenacious grease I
ever seen}
also,try and get the leaf's separated if you can before spraying them,I
usually take it to a buddies shop and put it on the lift where the tires sag
down,that helps open up the leaf pack a bit to spray the grease in between
them .
