Have a 2001 sport trac that will not fast idle when its cold. Is this
something that can be ajusted manually or is it in the computer? Trys to
cut off when cold but runs fine after it warms up.

If it runs when your foot is on the gas, but dies when you take it off,
then its probably the IAC valve. Its easy to remove and clean.

Yup... Also recommend cleaning the MAS and the throttle body/butterfly.
Both are simple as well.
