Hello,

I have a 1999 Ford Explorer Sport with a factory installed
AM/FM/CASSETTE system.  I'd like to upgrade and get AM/FM/CD or
AM/FM/CD/CASSETTE factory system probably used off of EBay.

I know to look for the same style of mount and the same input jacks,
but are there other things I should be looking for?  Are there
different levels of quality with these systems (i.e. standard and
premium sound)?  If so can I tell by the model number which is which?

Thanks in advance for any help.

In all honesty, I would suggest that you are further ahead looking to
aftermarket suppliers for something like this. I get the feeling that you
are depending on factory wiring being installed for the system of choice....
more likely, you will be disappointed.
