my 94' has a squeeking sound comming from the front end.  I have had the
shocks done a year ago.  the sqeeking comes on the highway or over bumps in
city traffic.  it is obviously suspension, but what part.  is it the control
arm bushing, ball joint, maybee a bad shock, any ideas?

Sounds to me that what you have is a two person job.  You will have to
get on the floor nearly under the truck and have a helper push down on
the front bumper whilst you listen for the noise/location.
Good luck.
