I'm doing some used car shopping and I was wondering.
Is there a place online where one can get a dealer repair history report on
a specific vehicle based on the VIN? Or do I have to go to a Ford dealership
to have it looked up?
I'm not talking about carfax, autocheck etc.....
Just dealer specific history reports.
TIA

Go here http://flatratetech.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi and click on
the "OASIS Forum". Post your VIN and your request, when someone gets the
time, they will post what they see (sorry, can't do a cut and paste....
copyright thing....). However, if your dealer is helpful, they can run OASIS
for you and they are allowed to print the report for you.
Bear in mind that the OASIS report will not list any repairs not covered
under warranty or any regular servicing that was done. It WILL include any
outstanding field service actions that apply to your car....
